Jumbo Shrimp? Wait... Thats not right..

A great Joe Kinder ascent of Randy Leavitt's Jumbo Pumping Hate (8b+/5.14a) is up at Dead Point Magazine. Joe Kinder says in his article that Jumbo Pumping Hate is the "BEST 14a in the world." I'd have to believe him, because Leavitt's juggy, dyno-filled ride on Jumbo Hate is one put up right in Clark Mountain's Third Tier, considered the best limestone in the United States, and near another Leavitt-bolted, Sharma-climbed line, arguably the hardest endurance/strength climb in the world, Jumbo Love (9b/5.15b).

In the midst of more talk about Jumbo Love and Randy Leavitt, I've been wondering about other futuristic lines bolted years back (Jumbo Love was bolted by Leavitt 15 years before its ascent) that may be waiting to push the limits for the next generation. 8spray.spew reported of an ascent of a 9a/9a+ line, Sashinadanha, by a man I don't know, Gerome Pouvereau, bolted 15 years prior by another man unknown to me Jerome Rochelle. My question, how many lines out there are bolted that are so far beyond what most people that no one even gets on them to know what they are missing? What is hiding in the shadows, waiting to be climbed, to add to the upper echelon of climbing? Lets see the long forgotten bolted come out of the woodwork like Jumbo Love and Sashinadanha and see where this sport is going.
